Prep Enrolment Information
Welcome to 2025 Prep at Alamanda College. We are very excited for our new students to join us for School Tours, Prep Transition and Parent Information Sessions which will help you to understand the processes at Alamanda College.
For 2025, The Department of Education has changed how we do 2025 Prep enrolments. This is now a two-part process starting with sending in an Application to Enrol to the school with proof of residence. Once the application is accepted, you will be given an enrolment form, with a list of additional required documents. You can check your address on www.findmyschool.vic.gov.au
Applications open from Monday, 15th April 2024, this may be accessed on our website, or you may pick up a hard copy from the main office at Alamanda College. These are due by Friday, 26th July 2024.
Once the application is received, our enrolment coordinator will be in touch with you to let you know the status of your application.

School Guided Tours 2024 - for 2025 Preps
Parents and children are welcome to attend a 2024 Prep Guided Tour on one of the following dates throughout school in Term 3 2024:
- Wednesday 17th July @ 9:30am
- Wednesday 31st July @ 9:30am
- Wednesday 14th August @ 9:30am
- Wednesday 28th August @ 4:30pm
- Wednesday 11th September @ 4:30pm
Parents, please email Alamanda College on enrolments@alamandacollege.vic.edu.au to book into any of the above school tours. Please include your child’s name, your name, and a contact number.
Parent Information Sessions
These sessions will include information about curriculum, out of school care, the first days at school, school uniform, stationery list, and an opportunity to meet school community members and teaching staff. You will not need to book a place for this information session. Please just arrive to the school 15 minutes prior to the sessions. You only need to attend one session:
- Wednesday 31st July @ 11:00am-12:00pm
- Monday 2nd September @ 11:00am-12:00pm
- Thursday 10th October @ 4:30pm-5:30pm
Children’s Transition Sessions
Once you have a confirmed enrolment for Alamanda College, your child will be invited to attend the following sessions at Alamanda K-9 College.
The children will participate in activities such as a tour of the school building, story time, lessons in the art room, and games in the prep classrooms. You are not required to stay with your child. Your child may attend one session, or they may attend all of the sessions.
Your child’s transition class will not be their permanent class or teacher for 2025. You will find out 2025 class assignments at the end of the 2024 school year via email.
** Please send a snack, hat and water bottle with your child for these sessions.
